Das Institut für Hygiene und Biotechnologie (IHB) an den Hohenstein Instituten ist ein Dienstleistungs- und Forschungszentrum mit den Arbeitsschwerpunkten angewandte Hygiene, biologische Analytik und medizinische Lösungen. Ursprünglich für die Belange der Textilindustrie gegründet, hat sich das IHB als Life-Science Institut längst auch in anderen Branchen einen Namen gemacht. Im Institut arbeiten Mediziner, Humanbiologen, Mikrobiologen, Molekularbiologen, Chemiker und Textilwissenschaftler an Lösungen für die Industrie und das Gesundheitswesen. The Institute for Hygiene and Biotechnology (IHB) at the Hohenstein Institute is a service and research centre whose main areas of work are Applied Hygiene, Biological Analysis and Medical Solutions. Originally established to serve the textile industry, the IHB, as a Life Science Institute, has long since also made its name in other sectors. The Institute employs medical experts, human biologists, microbiologists, molecular biologists, chemists and textile scientists to work on finding solutions for industry and healthcare services.
